The kinship I feel with the Earth sparks a passion in me for sustainability. As an engineer I hope to use my influence to implement designs that work with the environment instead of against it while still accommodating the convenience expected by the modern world. As a citizen I hope to encourage others to take action however they can by enforcing the notion that everyone has the power to make a difference.
